All the References you needed as a Study Abroad Advisor, but Could Never Find

The AEO has aimed to supply study abroad advisors with the most comprehensive information about Australian Higher Education. Whether it be through guides, updates, newsletters or conferences we have endevored to make accessing information on Australia as easy as possible.

As Australia is a new market for most advisors there is not much information to be found in most Study Abroad Libraries or Resource Sections. All listings in the "publications" section are available in hard copy format, and can be ordered free of charge from our office.

There are 39 publicly funded universities which enroll international students. They are all "accredited" by the Australian National Government, in that they receive government funds. The AEO is funded by 37 public universities,2 private universities (also accreditded by the government), and 5 North American enrollment organizations.

If there is anything else you would like to see listed on the web page, please contact us at [email protected] and we can tailor a information package for you.

Coursearch

Coursearch is an on-line search engine linked to Australian Universities. This engine allows students or advisors to search a listing of universities by field of study, university size, location, etc. The site was developed by IDP Education Australia and is run off of their web site. Advice: It may be difficult to return to the AEO's web site after accessing Coursesearch so it may be best to remind advisors or students to bookmark their interested sites before accessing.
