As specified in the definition box, a "undergraduate"
program is one that lasts 3 - 4 year and is one where you expect to obtain a
degree from an Australian University. All universities in Australia accept international
students into a undergraduate degree, and a program that the student is allowed
to choose their courses in.
What you need to do is to first figure out what you want to study. North American
programs (listed a little farther down the page) offer help deciding what to
study as one of services.
The first step is to sort out which university is the most appropriate for you. There are a variety of methods to help you with this. You can either click here to access profile sheets of the Australian universities or here to access direct links to the Australian Universities. You can also click here to access a website at the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) in Australia. This search engine will allow you to type in a variety of option (location, program type, level, etc) that can help you narrow down your selection. It will give you a listing of the universities that match the search criteria you give it.
The next step is to find a university in Australia that the program that best suits your needs. There are basically 2 ways to find what will work the best for you; Affiliate Programs and direct enrollment. Affiliate Programs are located in the US and Canada and can work with you on all aspects of the enrollment process (selecting institutions, course selection, application, housing, student visa, etc). A listing of programs can be found by clicking here.
Direct enrollment entails you as the student applying for enrollment,
housing, student visa, etc. By using the link to DEST above and then contacting
the AEO for information and applications on any university, this can be an option.
