Sydney Uni
OK, here it is... what we all want... a trip back to Sydney University! Visit the Office of Community and Alumni Relations. And, yes, it is possible to keep up (of course, it would be even easier if SU would keep their information a bit more current). Check the News and What's On page which includes a link to the "University of Sydney News" which is published on Wednesdays forty-four times a year. Thus far they have been able to keep it reasonably current! You can even read back issues to August 1995. The Daily Bull. And for some real memories, you can check the daily menu at the SU Staff Club! In case you do get back - or just want to reminisce a bit - check out What's on at Sydney. Of interest is the Vice Chancellor's site. The complete October 1996 (Volume 24, Number 2) issue of Gazette is now online (unfortunately, it appears to be the only one online), see the article about SUGUNA activities! Also see the Gazette from April 1998, and October 1998.

Oz in North America
We all share an Australian connection and most of us want to participate in Australian oriented activities here in North America. Fortunately, there are several to choose from. The major organization is the Australian Studies Association of North America which includes both academics and non-academics. They invite you to visit their web site and consider joining. The primary starting point is the Australian Studies Network.
Also check the Australian embassy in Washington, and the consulate in Denver. The Australian-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) has branches in San Francisco, in Denver, and in Hawaii.
For expats there is the Australian and New Zealand Scientists Connection Information Network. Also check out the new web site for Australians abroad which includes a current listing of Australian events around the world.
